Divisions by band size:
Novice Bands with NO competitive experience in the past 3 years
A Band size ~ 1 - 50 members including auxiliary
AA Band size ~ 51 - 75 members including auxiliary
AAA Band size ~ 76 - 99 members including auxiliary
Open Band size ~ 100+ members including auxiliary
Bands must compete in the division that applies to their band size.
Bands may choose to move up a division but may not compete in a lower division then their band size.
Five point penalty accessed to bands competing in a lower division then their band size.

Due to time restraints, only the first 30 bands to enter will be accepted.
Postmarked date on your entry form determines your performance order. NO exceptions!
You may participate in the Parade only OR Field Show only OR you may choose to
enter both events. No special scheduling for playoff games, school plays or testing. NO refunds!
Auburn's Veterans' Day Marching Band Competition is NOT a NWMBC Show; however, circuit members and non circuit members are welcome. We use the same standardized judging sheets and criteria as other Washington State shows. Our Field Show will be judged on performances with a minimum of 7 minutes and maximum of 11 minutes.
Trophies are awarded in all divisions for both the Parade and Field Show Competition.
The Sweepstakes Trophy is awarded to the band with the highest combined total score for both the Parade and Field Show.
Performance order is determined by postmarked date on your entry form. You will receive a confirmation email when your entry forms and/or payment are received. Performance schedules will be electronically sent to directors and posted on the Auburn Veterans' Day website.
If housing is needed, please indicate your request on your entry form. Housing and field use requests will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. The Auburn School District may charge a fee for housing and/or field use. Proof of Certificate of Insurance is required for all housing and/or field use.
